I studied film and video on the fine art BA at St Martin’s School of Art where I began making music videos. My first was with The Sugarcubes, Bjork’s band, for Birthday in 1987, the year I graduated. I went on to make many more videos, including indie classics for Jesus Jones, Zodiac Mindwarp, Concrete Blonde and Bang Bang Machine.
I have filmed, produced, directed and/or edited documentaries for broadcast on Channel Four, ITV & Al Jazeera. Subjects have included; medical cannabis, Woodstock, Malcolm McClaren, mental illness, antisemitism, body art, 7/7 Bombings
As well as shooting and directing my own films, I am also a freelance camera operator, video editor and photographer.
